keep in mind most blonde appointments require a custom toner application to create lived in looks.

bleach processing times are variable. A Typical highlight application takes about an hour (or more) including processing time an hour and a half. Applying root tap and toner following highlights can take up to one hour.

Allow at least 4 hours for a high impact blonding session.

if you have more questions about what type of highlighting method you need it is best determined in a consultation to discuss your options – I do not charge for constultations they are free!

Toner or Gloss

blonde and coppers do require a refresh with toner at the 6 week or two month mark.

often times a Chelating treatment to brighten the background for a toner is needed.

what is a toner or gloss?

toner is a demi permanent gloss. It is acidic which means it does not have the ability to “process” or “lift” the hair. It simply coats the hair. For example Blondes will fade into a warm, gold colour. Using violet/ash tone in a gloss will bring your blonde back to a more neutral cool tone.

Vibrant Fashion Shades

Galaxy hair

Some fashion shades can be achieved with permanent hair colour , but most of the time a blonding process is needed.

Fashion shades do require to be re toned in 4-6 weeks. A pastel purple colour, is going to fade out of the hair quickly.
